Current Opportunities

Position: Analyst, National Client Service

Schedule: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire

The Analyst will be primarily responsible for assisting with the daily administration of the firm’s alternative investments which include CDFIs and private placements. Ongoing work includes supporting the NCS Associate in updating market values and transactions in the performance system(s) and ensuring that investment information is being received from managers and flowing into document collection system.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support NCS team efforts to increase firm service efficiencies, uniformity, and increased client service satisfaction 
  • Update firm-wide private placement control sheets and the CDFI interest rate sheet
  • Assist in the monitoring of reports for the National Client Service Team identifying upcoming renewals, new private placements onboarding, capital calls and redemptions 
  • Complete new client and renewal paperwork for community development financial institution (CDFI) promissory notes and CDs
  • Assist in the processing and completion of wires for private placement funding and capital calls (once approved for cashiering)
  • Assist in the facilitation of updates to client address, contact information, assignments, and other informational updates for all alternative investments 
  • Assist in the updating of performance reporting for all alternative investments, including held away assets; quality check for accuracy and troubleshoot any issues 
  • Assist in the confirmation of client wire details for distributions from private placement managers
  • Ensure that new investments are added in Tamarac, Envestnet, and Canoe, and that terminated investments are updated accordingly
  • Assist in the updating and maintenance of the following systems: Canoe, ShareFile, Salesforce, Tamarac, and Envestnet
  • Assist in large-scale data aggregation and manipulation
  • Support NCS team tax season efforts by assisting with the downloading of tax documents from custodial platforms, Canoe, and manager portals
  • Perform other assigned duties and projects

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Certification or college degree in finance, wealth management, financial planning, or related field preferred 
  • 1-2 or more years’ experience working in a bank, brokerage, or similar financial institution environment preferred   
  • Experience working with high-net-worth families preferred
  • Experience with investment performance measurement and alternative investments preferred 
  • Basic knowledge of investment account types, strategies and performance measurement methods
  • Familiarity with business related software and systems including, but not limited to Tamarac, Envestnet, and Salesforce
  • Strong technical skills; experience with database systems preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications — Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Google Gemini

Position: Client Services Analyst

Location: Oakland, California

Schedule: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

As a Client Services Analyst, you will play a central role in delivering high-quality impact investment advisory services by supporting client onboarding, account operations, and ongoing service needs. Working closely with internal teams and custodians, you’ll prepare client materials, maintain accurate account data, and ensure smooth execution of client requests. This position offers the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of impact investing, strengthen your operational expertise, and contribute directly to an exceptional client experience.

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare materials for client calls and meetings, including account reviews and presentations for prospective clients
  • Process client account forms and manage meeting follow-up tasks.
  • Provide back-office support for client requests, including reports, wires, check processing, journals, and tax document assistance.
  • Coordinate with service providers to ensure timely and accurate completion of requests.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, client files, and meeting schedules.
  • Support the preparation and processing of Veris paperwork for new client relationships, custodian forms for new accounts, asset transfers, and performance reporting setup.
  • Update asset allocation spreadsheets and monitor ongoing transactions and performance across client accounts.
  • Complete financial transactions (fund transfers, cashiering, etc.) after 3–6 months in the role and with Managing Director approval.
  • Assist with administrative functions including daily mail processing, filing, and general office support.
  • Provide back-up inbound call support, screen phone calls, and route client needs appropriately.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • Certification or degree in Finance, Wealth Management, Financial Planning, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1+ years of experience in a bank, brokerage, financial institution, or within a Wealth Management/Investment Advisory firm (preferred).
  • 1+ years of experience in Sustainable, Responsible, or Impact Investing (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of investment account types and terminology (preferred).
  • Interest in values-aligned, sustainable, responsible, and impact investing (preferred).
  • Strong client service mindset and collaborative work style.
