David’s investment background was influenced by real world investment experience.  He inherited a modest portfolio at a young age from his grandfather.  While protesting environmental and economic issues associated with nuclear power in 1978 he realized that he owned coal companies which were in conflict with his personal values.  David had an epiphany and recognized there was a way to be both a successful a social  and financial activist.  From that point forward he aligned his investment portfolio with his financial goals and social values.

David is a guarantor for Micro Credit Enterprise, serves on the boards of  the Threshold Foundation, the Portsmouth Music Hall, and the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation.
